Rightfully, Koh Rong is regarded as Cambodia’s corner of paradise. Koh Rong is the second largest island in Cambodia, Koh Kong being the largest. Koh Rong is an island near The Gulf of Thailand. It is situated 26 km west of Sihanoukville’s coastline is a rare treat for any traveller.

Sihanoukville Province is a small province located on the coast in southern Cambodia. Sihanoukville is named after the former king, Norodom Sihanouk. It is home to the only deep-water port in Cambodia.  The province shares its name with capital, both being named Sihanoukville.  Also known as Kampong Som.

Sihanoukville Province’s natural assets are a magnet for tourism. The coastal islands are immaculate with pristine beaches. Equally, The National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty which attracts visitors from around the world.

Kep is a gorgeous coastal province southwest of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Typically famous for its fresh crab markets, it’s a seafood lover’s paradise. Sihanoukville Beach

Sihanoukville’s beaches are the main attraction for many tourists. Drawn to them by the soft, white-sandy beaches and sparkling azure waters. Sihanoukville possesses the most prominent beaches in Cambodia. The beaches stretch across three districts. Sihanoukville town (named after the former king, Sihanouk) also encompasses a large port zone. Locals still refer to the town by its old name, Kompong Saum.

Koh Kong Island

Koh Kong Province is located in the Deep South West coastal region of Cambodia, bordering with Thailand. The stunning coastline has been spared from much development and is bordered by lush forest and wild mountain ranges.

Cambodia really does have some great and underused diving locations. There are dive sites located close to the mainland. Condor Reef and Poulo Wai  are truly world-class dive sites waiting to be explored. Besides that,  choosing to stay little longer and venture further afield is another fabulous option.
